In Cannes, you can find a lot of palm trees like these ones. They follow the beaches of the "croisette" but also in the other side of the Festival Palace and the port.

To me, it looks like Miami (in some way), especially with that cropping. I did this cropp to enhance the heigh of the trees and give more space to the blue sky. I also played with the colors to give it a surreal almost fake approach (when I lived there, I heard many times that people here are superficial...that's a way to express this impression...might be true, might not be...).
