La Tour sur Tinée

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello,
Long time no post, so here's a picture from yesterday's hike in the mountains. This is La Tour sur Tinée, a small village (about 300 inhabitants), both preserved and in very good condition. Really a lovely place.
This is water pouring at the side of an old mill. The water used to be deviated into the mill, but now it goes around that mill.
I did some PP to get this pic the way I wanted it:
- boosted the contrasts (always my first step :-) )
- desaturated until only green and yellow vegetation remained colored
- changed the yellow, bright colors to green and less bright
- locally enhanced contrast on the top of the cascade
- pasted mill wall back from original, because the contrast boosting had turned it full white, and fit it in using curves and layer mask
- added a slight sepia to make it warmer
Hope you'll like it!
