[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The commune of Sanary-sur-Mer is a seaside resort in the département of Var in Provence, located 13 km (8.1 mi) from Toulon and 49 km (30 mi) from Marseille, in the south of France.

The seafront location was part of the commune of Ollioules. In the 16th century the seigneur established a fishing village here, clustered around the medieval watchtower, under the protection of "Sanct Nazari" of Lérins Abbey. The port was constructed and the harbor deepened in the mid-16th century. The little fishing port of Saint Nazari was finally granted its independence from Ollioules in 1688, and in 1890 officially received its local name in Provençal, Sanary, which was formalized and distinguished as sur-Mer in 1923.

As a tourist rendezvous, the village underwent a strong decade of growth in the 1980s.

Great compo for this nocturnal shot. Very sharp and nice reflections on the water. The artificial lighting creates a warm tone. The masts provide a nice graphic touch. Well done.

Hi Daniele,
A lovely night shot. The colours are warm and the elements are sharp. I feel that the section of the boat on the right is obstructing the scene at the back. May be you should have moved to the left a bit.

Da foto come quesa si comprende la mediocrità mentale e aggiungo tecnica di chi si erge a difensore dell'impossibile...... e che ti ha inserito nella lista nera della quale anche io, fino a qualche giorno fa una volta facevo parte e ne sono stato estromesso. (Chissa perche!) E si che volevo farvi compagnia, almeno a te e Silvio.......

Bonjour Daniele,

Nice night shot. Well exposed with beautiful reflection in water. Boats in foreground hide a little the BG, however they difine beautifully the depth of the image. Nice work and TFS.
