Striking shot. Nice colours!
Personally I think it would work better with more zoom or crop, so that the subject featured more in the shot.
Possibly you wanted to emphasise the big sky vs. small microlight ... I'm not sure what your intention was (a reference to your intention in the note would be nice.)
