[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A summer evening in the commune of Mazerolles. A rich light which gave warmth to the skin tones. Beausoleil meaning 'good sun' really is the name of this little hamlet and it receives the sun from morning til evening because it is perched on a rise .The 'pose' is a teenage thing... I just liked the 'look' which those of you with 'young ladies' will understand completely. Naomi, my eldest daughter is happy in front of the camera..does it show?
Slightly sharpened, border added and the saturation increased slightly. Resized for TL.

Nice portrait Mike, it's always a challenge shooting in direct sunlight trying to balance the highlights and shadows; here it's slightly overexposed on her face, some od the details and textures are lost in the brightness. However the reflected light on the 'shadowed' side of her face is very nice, and her eye contact with the camera is good and clearly has the confidence you metion.
Composition ok although (and this is something I do a lot myself) I have to wonder why the landscape-orientation, with so much space around her?

Yes, it is good sun. It makes nice warm colors and provides good sidelighting for her image. She is very pretty and has a nice engaging expression. Well done.
