The male duck mallard has a long gray body, with the chest brown-lilac. The head and the neck present iridescent green feathers, separated from the chest by a white collar.
The nozzle is large and yellow, and carries a black mitre at its end. The eyes are dark. The legs and the fingers are red orange. The female is brown than the male, mottled chamois, white and brown dark.
The face is brown clear with the black line across the eyes.

Bonjour Corinne,
J'aime l'humour de ton titre!
Et la position de ce canard !
Vibrantes couleurs!
Ta photo ferait une jolie carte pour ceux qui veulent prendre des nouvelles de leurs amis!
Le meilleur pour toi! Annie

Super details in the feathers and good timing to capture the duck in this pose - despite the unusual "pose" its apparent that it's a mallard. Nice shot
Thanks for sharing
Mark
