Spaghetti is a long, thin form of pasta. It is versatile, popular, and available throughout the Western world. Spaghetti is the plural form of the Italian word spaghetto, which is a diminutive of "spago," meaning "thin string" or "twine". The word "spaghetti" can be literally translated as "little strings". My strings are very smalls ;=)

Not having basil close to me, I took a small mint end pushing in my garden to give this false idea. Natural light of the day.

In Italian, the word spaghetti of spaghetto (uncommon in French), even derived seems to him is the plural word spago which wants to say "string", allusion to the shape of these pastes. In French, one writes "spaghettis", the word not being used in the singular.

Because they symbolize Italy precisely, the spaghettis gave their name to a cinematographic kind, the Western spaghetti, it means the western produced and directed by Italian director - one can quote in particular among the many scenario writers who attacked this kind with various fortunes, Sergio Leone, who made the cinematographic career of a young actor named Clint Eastwood.

To eat spaghettis can a great history also allow love to start???

(see workshop to understand my last explanations).

Wonderful abstract! I really like the amount of detail and the clarity in the shot, which makes every strand of dry spaghetti pop out. Excellent natural colors and good tonalities, the (natural?) lighting here gives the shot a warmth and makes it dynamic with nice soft contrasts. Excellent balance and composition with the criss-crossing bunches of spaghetti and the bunch of mint leaves at the upper left to create contrast and to balance and give life to the shot. There are little parts that are overexposed at the left ends of the spaghetti strands, perhaps selecting those brighter parts on the original shot and then isolating them so that you can adjust levels on the rest of the spaghetti would help. Good decision to leave in the dark corner at the right edge for balance. Excellent point of view from above looking straight down to create the abstract too. TFS!

Hi Corinne,

I like the way you compose the dry spaghetti, crossing with perfect light angle, make stunning image of combination shadows from the diagonal perspective.

Bonsoir Corinne,
J'aime beaucoup cette série qui révèle tes talents d'observatrice et de designer! Bravo pour la compostion et pour la grande simplicité d'excécution. Avec les couleurs chaudes, ce clin d'oeil aux westerns spaghetti est parfait! Très bien fait! Annie

Beaucoup 'Sergio Leone' ici (Musique : once upon a time in the west)
Tres bonne acte de presence..Just a little remark: Spaghetti left below corner precise in the corner/angle (Lead-in liner) Grande Bravo
John

Pâte au pesto peut-être?...miam!
Très belle variété de couleur et une mise en place parfaite!
Encore bravo Corinne!
Salut,
Dany

P.S. mignon ton lien en WS ! ;-)

An interesting view of an everyday food Corinne.
I like the pattern you have created, the green mint leaves complete the shot for me.There is a good range of colour even though we would expect the spaghetti to look all the same. Well done.
Best wishes Jean.

Très sympa, cette idée de compo en diagonale.
Marie

Salut Corinne,
Spaghetti in fact is my favourite food. It can be combined with so many pesto variations an always gives you a good feeling. The second big advantage is that it does not need big preparations and gives you power but not fat. Never thought of taking a Spaghetti picture but what you deliver here is excellent and looks yummi. TFS Thomas
