It's never far from me, my Lumix. I'm be out the hospital for a simple consultation, I had noticed that flower bed are well flowered. After some POV, I approach bush of lavender, it has been a few times that I have sought bus now one thus finds more lavandin less attracting for the bees and especially the bumblebees, heavier, slower in flight than the bees, easier for me to find of them at least one which wants to take the exposure well.
And well either I'm really not fast, or it's them which made musculation of the wings but I had much difficulty, they are like mad, to gather nectar the flowers lavender with frenzied . But this one to decide not to dope ;O D itself and I could have his "portrait".

That family memories can return in memory with the lavender because a great number among us, opened to the drawers of our grandmothers or our mothers and found small sachets of lavender scenting the arranged linen. Medicinal properties:

In essential oils of Lavender, it's Lavandula angustifolia most important. It most flexible, is appreciated and most therapeutic of all essential oils. Flowers and sheets are extremely aromatic, but only the flowers are used to manufacture essential oil. The lavender is a single oil because various and lending itself easily to the mixtures. In the bath: all external uses

In Inhalation: all colds, influenza and respiratory difficulties.

In compress: cutaneous burns, cuts, eruptions and headaches.

In gargarism: irritations of the throat or the gums, bad breath.


Symbolical:

In the language of the flowers the lavender means "Answer me". In more established relation or a friendly relation it is a symbol of "tenderness": in relation to its bluish mauve color, its perfume, like its alleviating properties

I like the tittle "Picnic". That bee is saying: "I am looking at you". I like the colors, the sharpeness, the composition, but most of all, your notes. My daughter had a French teacher who used to sell her lavender, but I did not know all the properties, the meaning, etc. Thanks for sharing the photo and for all the interesting and useful information.

Nous avons des gens qui font la plantation de Lavande dans mon coin de pays. Ils font pleins de produit avec leurs lavandes, Pas besoin de te dire que leurs produits sentent bon.

En regardant ta photo, je me disais que l'été va quitter son manteau de chaleur bientôt pour laisser place a l'automne. Les saisons passent trop vite ..
