To fly or not to fly, such is the question... especially when you do not have any more kerosene. It's to better do the move of the breakdown on the ground rather than in full flight, not?

The POV made at the time of a demonstration of old airplanes on the aerodrome of Niort.

This demonstration wasn't without me to recall by some amusing sides, moments like this one I could assist and also because these planes authentic, were restored with passion, a film:

Those magnificent men in their flying machines

At the beginning of the 20th century, aviation is with its stammerings and fascine the whole world. Lord Rawnsley, press magnate British, decides to organize an international air race connecting London in Paris with with the reward, glory and a premium of 10 000 £. The stake, of size, attracts pilots of the four corners of the world. Begin an incredible tour then where all the blows are allowed. Even low! The competitors will compete of acrobatics for an extraordinary premium and the beautiful eyes of the girl of the press magnate.

Movie funny if it's. All rests on the caricature. The French allures all the women whom it sees, a little off-hand and mocker. The Italian with a sublime woman and... of very many children. British Very... Britishs. Germans very on horseback on the order and the discipline. Americans very western. That puts good mood, humour is easy-going without any spite. Sympathetic and diverting, I have weak for this type of cinema crazy and without pretentiousness.

In my workshop, it flies or not ???

Hi Corinne,
You made this humorous capture in excellent light that renders strong clear colors. The shadow cast by the yellow plane wing reflects nicley. The yellow is wonderfully complimented by the blue strips.
Regards, Tom

Bonjour Corinne
That's a "three manpowered airplane".
Bravo
Serge

Hi Corinne,
They will never get it to start like that.
