The ancient baths June, 28 rue Baugier. This beautiful building first-showers niortais baths, built in 1804 between two branches of the Sèvre niortaise, is particularly notable for its front-shaped tower, which housed the machines. The aesthetics hispanisante its facade is the work of a Mexican architect. The bathing establishment ceased its activity in the fifties to become a dwelling. A project of transformation into a hotel was under consideration. (private property included in the Inventory of Historic Monuments.) but with the change of municipality in the last elections, it decided to réabilité the building and allow people to stay in places

Bonjour Corinne
Bravo
