Apart from the detail resulting from the setting sun, what I really like about this image is that it's hard to tell if the footprints are convex or concave. Knowing that they are footprints in the sand tells you logically that they are concave, but the play of light and shadow can give them a convex appearance at the same time. Intentional or not, you've created a nice optical illusion!

I agree with seneca, the longer you look at the image, the more the mind plays tricks,, making the footprints appear to standout of the sand rather than being depressed. Well seen.

Cette petite photo toute simple me plait beaucoup.
C'est fort bien présenté,
une bien élégante composition qui est, à ce que je lis dans ta note, hautement symbolique.
