Well, I have only just seen yesterday's image Hans and I am so pleased you were given honest critiques - yes, it is much too dark. But they all still gave you big green smileys!! I wouldn't have :) :)
Now, stop crying - you're a big boy - so grow up!!
This is much better. Also Linda said it was a Asian Swallowtail - you didn't read all her notes - I think you got stuck on the word DARK.
The flowers and leaves look good with the Asian Swallowtail climbing up them. All in good focus and light. . .

Hello Hans,

I'm not surprised that you mentioned composition in your title as that is what hits you first when you look at this shot!

The diagonal composition is excellent.
Then, having noticed that, the sharpness, colours and details of the images shows up.

There is still a little noise but it is not distracting. If you run your blur tool over the b/g it will remove the evidence of that noise.

A beautiful capture of butterfly in this composition showing a good color contrast of the flower. Nice sharpness and bokeh. Very tight but nice composition especially the tip of the long leaf near the top corner.

it's a beautiful and colourful shot, I like it very much. I'm sorry, but that's not a Swallowtail! I know it's not the most important thing here on TL to know the ID of everything, but you know I come from TN - so allow me to tell you:
This is a Paper Kite or Rice Paper butterfly (Idea leuconoe) family Nymphalidae coming from SE Asia. I love this big and elegant flying butterfly and we can see him drinking from that nice flower, thanks and greetings
