headlight of "La Coubre"
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
The headlight of Coubre is a tower 64 metres high. It lights and reassures the access to the estuary of Gironde by "Big Western pass", by making easier the bypass of the areas of the bench of Coubre and the bench of the poor, on which are lying numerous wrecks.
Of sinister reputation, the bench of the Poor, located off the Wild Coast, is hard disadvised in sailing, due to the presence of high funds, wrecks, of breaking, of strong slipstreams, and opposites oceans currents |

Hi Laurent
excellent composition with very good POV.
beautiful colors.
very good photo.
congratulations
Nestor
Great capture - textbook composition and a POV that emphasises the height of this lighthouse. Certainly an impressive structure and I imagine the view from the top would be spectacular!

Bonjour Laurent,
