Presqu'île Sauvage, Bretagne...

After a long day with very hard showers, the sun finally broke through the clouds... to dive into the sea almost immediately.

Note the spots in the water, they are small fishing boats, and they are only afloat during the high tide. At low tide the bay of Pleubian is almost completely dry.

PP: cropped a bit, downsize for TL. Applied auto-contrast to get a slightly clearer pic. Removed some scan noise from the sky (top right).

Very nice and mysterious photo! Well done!

My vote goes to the nice weather. Good picture with very nice colors.

Unusual composition of a sunset, but no objection (is eens iets anders). I like the cloud cover.

Nice sunset franck, a pittty about the noise, maybe you can scan on a higher resolution to prefend it.. nice golden glow..Tried a ws to get rid of the noise and a different crop

Beautiful shot! I think the offset sun is a welcome change, the shot's a bit noisy but I'm sure it's just the scan.

Once more, superbe sunset (this time it is not the moon hein!). I have look at the getsalt (aka Manny comment) Find this : Art, Design and Gestalt Theory... The author discusses gestalt theory's influence on modern art and design, describes its resemblance to Japanese-inspired theories of aesthetics... Would it be a therapeutic picture? It may be. It is quiet and lordly. I have done a WS (this one serious ) - (i'm just experimenting, since i think that the sky to the far right should have been blue for better gestalt effect).

Excelent mood...the all image could be a bit more lighten but maybe getting less dramatic clouds would be the price i guess...
Anyway i trully love it...wonderful capture Frank :)

I like this sunset, how the sun is fighting for its show and heavy dark clouds invading skies. Good colors and I like the reflection of the sun in the water.

Nice dynamics of light colors and shapes. Good gestalt effect.
