[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in the catacombs in Paris, France.
One of the more macabre places I have seen in my life. There are litterally millions of bones and skulls they have dug out in the 16th century (because the graveyards were full), and stacked them in all sorts of shapes and forms about 30M under the streets of Paris.
You can take a walk through the tunnels, about 1.7km of bones, and bones, and bones.....

Hi

Wonderful picture. Unbelievable place.

One wonders whether it's the right place to rest in peace. I dont think i would like to think i was stacked up for all to look at.

Great capture.

SF.

Interesting note and picture. See my workshop. Willem

Surprise was my first reaction! I imagined skull interlace into rocks... But in full size i recognise immediately there was bones and only bones. What's the story :) They only do that canse... okay i think i know. Europe had millions of victims during the pest period! THat's it? At the same time it's morbid, it's fascinating :)

Hehe! This is a great place for pictures. A bit chilly but full of soul a mystery! Your picture gives a great feeling of what the place is like. It's fascinating and weird. Good job with the light!

Great picture! Wonderfull use of light!
I feel that the crispness add's a feel of reality. Those bones are really there, not a gimmick or plaster of paris, REAL! And you need to portrait that.
I also think that by using the DOF you did, you almost tell the viewer that the bones does not stop at the edge of your photo, they go on and on and on....

Absolutely Stunning!!!
(I wish I could give you more points)
