Paris Rush Hour from the 80 Bus
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This trip my friend Catherine and I got adventurous, and traveled all over Paris by wheelchair friendly bus lines. This is the driver's view of rush hour on the 80 bus, the one that ends in Montmartre. Since we were staying in a hotel there, it was the one we rode to connect with other lines. We couldn't have gotten off Butte Montmartre without it. Wheelchairs and steep hills just don't mix.
ISO 1600 (getting on toward dusk), focal length 28.0 mm. |

ARRET DEMAIN would have been a good title too. This one looks much satuated. Often happens in low light struggle. I will enjoy a few minutes play with it.

I like the way the bus frames the busy Parisian street scene, I think you have found an unusual and interesting way to capture an everyday scene in any big city around the world that adds a new dimension to the picture. However I agree with Kit that the colours are very saturated and a little desaturation would go along way.
Interesting shot

I love this one, Lois ... so typically Paris mood in the bus with the traffic jams and the lightened "Arrêt demandé" ...
The 80 bus leads to Montmartre through nice places in Paris.
The contrast is great and the colours too.

What is going on !
The tafic light is green , and the transversal street traffic is still moving ! Aaah Paris !
Well done Lois!
Different composition and nice presentation of a street scene!
Cheers!
