[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saturday,

No discharging operations. A Day off for the crew and the apprentice officers. So I took the opportunity to enjoy a walk on the docks all the way to downtown Rouen.

We were docked at section 9. A view here of the docks. Note the crane was discharging from the cargo hold directly in railcars.

Technically:
Scanned from 35 mm 3.5 x 5 inches color print
1) cropped the bottom
2) Adjusted contrasts , levels
3) Desaturated
4) Added frame and Title with Photofiltre

Hello Robert,

Good repetition in the right part ofthe photo.
I feel a particular mood seeing this photo cause I'm native from Rouen.
TFS!

Marc.

Hi Rob,

I see that even with the day off you can't leave from the port. It's so nice to see people love their work ... :)
This is a lovely B&W photo! It reinforces the photo's age. Nice frame, as it contrasts with the B&W photo theme.
Well done, my friend!! :)

A beautiful capture from the past, an interesting point of view and beautiful presentation in a frame.

I hope that ship in picture must be grounded by now.

Thanks for sharing a picture from true monochrome era.
