[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not what he was wearing, but what he was playing on a Sunday morning while standing in the square that fronts the Strasbourg Cathedral. It was a total non sequitor, "Blue Suede Shoes" and church bells, worth a smile and a head shake.

The original photo had problems so I messed with it, crop, colored pencil, sharpen all come to mind, there was probably other stuff, too... I do like the results but wonder how the tonality will come out on other computer screens, it's one of those photos that works with one type of screen and not another.

ISO 400, focal length 73.0 mm.

Fantastic pp work. There are no bad photos... only bad editions... hehe.
TFS,
Carmem

Looks great on my screen, Lois! Has good lines - we don't need all the detail here - our imaginations will fill in the blanks nicely! We can tell that he's "into" the music. Good implied movement!

I like the effect.
Gayle :)

Bonjour Lois, L'effet de ce filtre est superbe, les défauts eh bien on ne les voit pas. Très belle image toute en douceur.
Very well done, I like it...

Hi Lois,

Great rendering - I love doing this with pictures though TL participants do not often give points for doing so.

Love it, TFS.
Andre

Interesting effect, almost like a manky old tapestry. I guess that it was necessary to disguise something and this has worked out OK - it's impressionism, and I'm impressed. There's enough here to 'get' the intent, as the body language does the job well. Better than Dead Fish.
Bring on the Dancing Girls!

I'm impressed, too.
If this was a bad photo, now it is a good PS work.

Lois, love the pp work you did on this image! I wonder what the original is like because the composition, and expression on the street musician looks great to me! You're probably being too critical on yourself, but I like what you did with the image anyway!! TFS, Sam :-)
