Drifting trough Les Baux with the camera 'ready to shoot' a person does not have to make endless surches for a scene like this, a very old alley.

So again Folks, Les Baux in the Provence!

Thanks for popping in and have a good day/evening.

Great photo - nice POV, nice colors, and nice combination of shadows and light. I love Provence as well. Unfortunately, I do not have such nice pictures of my own. John, thanks for helping with the choice of holiday destination for this year.

Hi John,
You capture a very pleasant atmosphere here!
Good perspective, interesting lighting!
Well composed of course, good lines and fine balance between elements... Impressive textures in those ancient walls!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi John,

I think I'm going to call you French from now on, since you have shown us wonderful images of France more than Holland... :))
Wonderful image from a great POV. It reminds me of the Renaissance. I'm expecting to see a Night in shining armor... :))
Very well done on the composition, my French friend :)

Hi John,
Provence should appoint you his ambassador. Your photos make him good a publicity and also a great honor. Bravo for this one. I like much the point of view involving us in the mystery of these narrow alleys. Annie

Wow! Well done John... So much history and beauty in old buildings and cities. Thanks,

Glen

Hello John, this brings a lot of european mood with these stone architecture and little alleys made of cobble stones.

And you captured it beautifully.

Cold grey colour against the warm golden colour.

Very well done! Sis :)

great perspective! A simple and stunning composition!

Wow! I love photos like these. The feeling it creates is undescribeable. The texture, colour and the richness is makes it a photographers delight. This is so well seen and captured.

It almost feels like a stream running through the middle of this photo. Colors are beautiful, and composition - quite successful. Nicely done, Mr. Tulip.

Hello my Dutch friend!
Wonderful image of Provence, the only thing that would make it more typically Provencial is to add some lavender and a locust, LOL!

Hallo John,
Gratuliere.
Viele Grüsse
Eva

I was there also when I was Student. At that time, I have an Olympus OM2, and I make only Slides.
When I will have more time, I will scan some of my best slides to upload them here.

Anyway, thanks for the souvenirs of Les Beaux de Provence.

Hi John,
