Two traveling teddy bears! I'm taking photos of these two bears around the world.

This was taken in France in 2003. This railway wasn't in use, so they (and me) were pretty safe.

Bonsoir.
Très bonne composition...
Très bonne idée ...

Hi Yukiko,
looking at it I feel like in the land of fairy tales. You've got great idea, but I must say I see here some distractions disturbing me in concentration on the bears :-) I made the workshop showing how it should look in my visions. Let me know what do you think please :-) tfs

Hi Y,
great idea, good PP (maybe a bit over saturated). Bird is cool detail, only remark is tilt of few deg.

Dear Yukiko,
You have great potential as a photographer since you're not afraid to create.. the two teddy bears did the trick on this photo. I would like to let you know that my two mentors in Manila were two Japanese photojournalists - Tsugufumi Matsumoto and Itsuo Inoye - two of the best AP photographers in Asia.
A suggestion on your photo: You can take the photo from a top angle to show the bear and the railway tracks for a stronger composition
Regards,
Joseph

Hi Yukiko,
I followed your link from Treklens and arrived here :-) I love these photos with the two bears, a great idea. Nice idea to put them on the railtracks, excellent!
Regards,
Adrian

Hi Yukiko,

A very nice idea you had here and it works really well with the title, The scale difference between the bears and the rails tracks really do make for a long journey. Marek's tighter crop works very well as it does away with the distractions in the shot.

Still a good shot and very creative too. Well done!

John

Wonderful creative shot. The subject, the meaning, the composition, the location are all well thought. I love it. TFS.

Great idea and lovely exposed
