| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is my village, Reichshoffen (Rishoffe in Alsacian :-)). There are approximately 5500 inhabitants, and we are located at 45 mn by car from Strasburg. I was ob the top of a hill to take thsi shot. There were cows all around me, pushing me and looking curiously at my camera.
It is located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Regional des Vosges du Nord, a large area where you can find a high number of typical alsacian villages, old medieval ruins, a lot of german bunkers from the Second World War and other historical things like that.
It is also an area with a great biodiversity, where nature is strongly protected. 3/4 of the Parc Naturel are covered with forests, but there are also orchards, meadows and pastures for the cows. It is a dream for a photogapher like me to live in such a beautiful environment. |

Hi Valerie,
Lovely landscape surrounding this very nice village!
Looks like a peaceful place to live, with lots of green areas around the houses...
I like your POV giving a fine view of the place, good natural colours!

Very nice shot of your village with the Voges in the background. Excellent POV and wonderful scenery.
