ROCK ART-DEVILS ISLAND
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a closeup of the rock wall of the detached isolation prison. The rocks are reddish and yellowish in color but it was not painted. I exaggerated the saturation on this photo to look like art work. Tomorrow I will post the isolation chamber on TE.
PP Work: Adjust levels control; Adjust heavily the saturation level; Sharpen; Crop; Frame; Reduce image size for posting.

Interesting detail shot. By itself, it does not indicate much, though the increased contrast and saturation create a slightly settling effect. But added to the whole theme, this is an apt abstract of the turmoil of Devils Island and its former inhabitants.
This gives the impression of coral - or perhaps corroded metal. Without the note I'd never have known what it really is! A very creative POV.
