Walking through the streets of Paris, taking pictures of all the iconic and typically French places and monuments, I came across this metro station. My original intention when I took this picture was to capture the elaborate entrance/exit to this metro station, but along with this there unravelled this odd situation with this couple checking their map infront of a permanent Paris map, which i might add included a 'You Are Here' marker, but some people just won't accept help will they?
The entrances to the stations were designed in the Art Nouveau style by the architect Hector Guimard. For the 1900 World fair, 86 entrances by Guimard still exist.
