[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The gardens of Versailles. I found these gardens a real challenge to photograph. Since I could only visit during harsh light, I chose B&W. B&W also helped since there is such a multitude of colour in the gardens that it is hard to frame a coherent photograph. (I'm sure it's possible, just not by me!) I did want to include some photograph so I have hand coloured these roses to something close to their real colour.

PP: Convert to monochrome using the Red channel, USM with mask, Smart sharpen with a very limiting mask, a bit of healing on some blemishes, crop, frame.

Advice: On TrekEarth I see to do fairly poorly with my B&W shots. Any advice would be appreciated.
