Last photo was of the great and luxury buildings in Paris. (You can see it here)
This photo shows you another four colours of Paris!
Four women were laying there, the whole time we were in Paris.
We gave them a box of little things, without waking them, in the hope the want to take it.

This place was near by the Eiffel.
What a contradiction in Photo's of Paris!

Janneke
ps. look at the workshop to see the result without the blur. I like that photo more but its not that sharp... maybe I try it again....

And I did...See for yourself! sharpend as well!:)

Hello, Janneke,
Indeed contradictions of life are very big. At one place you can see luxury, and just a few meters away - mysery.
I like your diagonal composition here. The colours also contribute to the theme (did you desaturate them or these are the original ones). Your choice of frame is also excellent - it looks as a movie film.
Regards, Evgenia

very good street composition showing life here Janneke :)
i like the muted tones
well done :)

A good documentary photo! Why that blur around the subject?

Like the use of selective desaturated colour, it adds to the documentary type feel of the picture.

Janneke

Interesting shot and nice commentary showing some of the things one might not think of when they think of Paris. Nice work and good framing.

Hi Jan,

Great shot girl! Love the (4) colours! Gives the photo much more drama!! Great frame but the text could be better!

Armoede is relatief. Dit maakt je foto los bij mij

merhaba Janneke ;
bu insanları buralara getirip, bu hale koyanlara yazıklar olsun, sen çekmişsin güzel olmuş selamlar

Hi Janekke,
interesting photo of this series. Very nice capture of daily life. Artistic I may say. Well done. TFS

All the best,
Ioana

Hi Janneke,
I love this. The composition works extremely well with that diagonal line formed by the bench. Did you use selective desaturation? It's hard to tell...
I think I prefer the version without the blur. If the rest of the photo was cluttered blur would have been good but I don't think it's needed here.
Very well done,
Jako

Hi Jan,
very journalistic.....the picture tells its own story re the poverty in Paris, you have composed the shot very well, and the detail is very good across the shot. IMO I think I might have lost the litter bin. The tree is good as it follows the line of the bench, but the bin distracts from a good composure. Just my opinion though! Great capture, well done and TFS,
John
