Firstly I would like to say I am anything but a cat fan, however there is a story to this post.
My visit to Paris in December was in part to visit and photograph Jim Morrison's grave, in Père Lachaise cemetery. I was and am a huge fan of The Doors and have always wanted to pay homage to one of my heroes. When we got to the graveyard we kinda followed the crowds to Jim's stone and I took a few shots but felt awkward for some reason, there were many others there and it wasn't very impressive anyway. Then this cat caught my eye, sitting on a nearby tomb, it jumped down and began to tuck into some chinese takeaway, king prawn chop suey with egg fried rice by the look of it. Apparently regular visitors feed the cat by leaving scraps and it just hangs around the place looking cool.
So there you go, a once in a lifetime trip to a cemetery in Paris results in this!!! The best laid plans of mice and men.......although there were no mice around :-)

Anyway, I love the picture. That cat sure is fat. He'll probably die from not taking care of himself just like Jim did. The cat does have almost a morbid expression on his face... like he knows something you don't... kinda creepy, considering he hangs out by a graveyard. Nice picture!

Nice pussycat picture. It's almost like the cat was posing and flaunting itself to you. lol
Good color composition, focusing, and nice lighting.
