[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Eiffel Tower seen since his foot East. The Great lady has seen more imposing under this angle. It was built for a contest (700 competitors had proposed a project) at the time of the World Fair of 1889. It was to be destroyed in 1909 but a military use then the installation of a civil radio-transmitter saved. Today, one wonders well what would be Paris without its Eiffel Tower!

Not the usual "touristy" POV, I like this angle. It makes it look very tall indeed, nice note also. Well done.
