[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The use of the colors in Feng Shui: the colors remain a very subtle element and very energizing of what one can bring a place, a part, a decorative element, a clothing, a jewel, a make-up... and until the decoration of a table or with the harmonization of the colors of a dish according to the circumstances of the life, season of the year or meal in the course of the day. What we rather intuitively do in occident, or following an orally transmitted tradition... thus of the customs and habits, fact part, in China, of a more formal teaching.

"Four Orients" used in Feng Shui:
Red Phoenix corresponding to the South and requiring a space released...
the Black Tortoise corresponding to North and a stable position...
the Green Dragon corresponding to the East and a capacity of growth...
the white Tiger corresponding to the West and a protective support
in are the most obvious demonstration since with each East and each symbol is dependent an essential color which makes it possible to facilitate the movement of energy... thus to regularize the environment and the habitat.

At all times the yellow, in China, was considered the imperial color par excellence... and this fact very respected but little used as such. One thus prefers the color saffron to him, mixture of red and yellow, one temperate person the other as the ground moderates fire and as fire transfers its excessive energy towards the ground.
In the Chinese tradition blue represents constancy, the improvement, the permanent evolution, initiation and is thus particularly intended at piece-rates being used for the studies, teaching, the professional work or literary.
The green represents the rebirth of nature, germination, the spring force, courage to undertake and is thus particularly recommended for the rooms of the children and young people.
The color blue-turquoise represents serenity, permanence, the benevolence, the quiet authority and is thus intended for the room of the parents.
The green emerald represents the richness of the spirit, the intelligence, courage and bravery and is indicated for the office of work.
The red represents the joy, the festival, vitality, opulence and is thus found in the living room as on the principal door, generally in the shape of a charm or talisman.
The carmine pink represents the sensuality, the carnal contact, the wellbeing and was reserved for the boudoirs, alcoves and bathrooms.
The white represents the purity, justice, the decision, the authority in fact and is appropriate for the courtrooms where the law is exerted. It is also the color which was used for the entry in order to purify energy which enters and which leaves the house. The white is useful, to some extent, in this particular case, of energy hopper.
The black is the color of interiorization, the creative immobility, the return on oneself, humility... and is, obviously, a color difficult to use... also the experts of Feng Shui substitute the "sets of shades to him"... while playing with the light on partitions or tissue papers. In the houses one uses readily the shades produced by the plants and more particularly by and the bamboos and projected on a partition thanks to an erudite lighting.
Unfavourable oppositions... Certain associations remain to disadvise...
Black and red, except if one seeks an effect violent and destroying are to be avoided because water (black) extinct fire (red).
The yellow and the green end up causing a feeling of faintness because wood (green) nourishes ground (yellow)... If one wishes to try this combination it is possible with the proviso of making so that the green is really minority.
The white and the red do a rather bad housework by fire (red) bottom metal (white)... but of the white with a simple red net becomes énergétiquement acceptable then.
The white and the green will agree only to the only condition which the green dominates the white because wood (green) is sliced by metal (white).
If one uses blue and green it is logical that the green is in bottom (wood) whereas blue is in top (sky)...
In the same way it is advisable to place the cold colors (Yin) in bottom and the hot colors (Yang) in top. If one wishes to better paint the walls of a part of different colors is worth to place the hot and clear colors in the Yang part (Is and Southern)... or left while the cold or dark colors, if the white is excluded, will remain in the Yin part (Western and Northern).

I saw some of all the colors ;-)) with these pencils which was necessary to cut correctly so that the mines are quite pointed then to arrange them while thinking of the order of the colors

Gorgeous photo and very nice conceptual photo idea. I love the colours and the lighting effect you have managed to streamline here. Very descriptive write ups and it is indeed a driving sense of commitment for us. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Corinne,

The picture: It's a great shot. Very sharp and nicely composed.
The Note: It's inspiring, it's a reminder in certain ways. And for some people it's beliefs.
Combination: Great and meaningful.

Tfs,
Tjutjut

I give you the usefull for the note... I consult my Biorythm and the 3 curves result said that Werewolf feel to read all that... He would much appreciate the bed sooner :)
But it seem give a good definition.
Feng Shui or not Like a pure spirit who is not affraid about mirror i was immediatly attract by the original of presentation! We deserve a theme for colors pencil. One day it could be good i try my experiences.... It will be hard to find something different but i believe i already have a good clue :)
Good harmony and the patern isalmost hypnotic... I'm out of WS but imagine a twirl effect..
But i admit i prefer to see it naturally...
The effect would break the precision in your tips...
It's Vivid!

Nice concept here. I like the offsetting of the focal point to the left side. There are some over-exposed area on the blue-green pencil and the some distracting grains on the red pencil. But over-all nice photo.

Bonjour Corinne

Ivan

Bonjour Corinne,

Hi Corrine, I didn't realize they were pencils until I opened the image. Such a nice idea and its so colorful. I wonder how they will look if you centre them all in framing. Thanks for sharing, ari
