Well at least you took advantage of your business trip ;) Really stunning shot of this, I usually get really jaded with shots of the Eiffel Tower I find this one really appealling. The overall gold and brown hues and tones give the shot a distinct mood and flavor, and I love how you used that point of view looking up onto the front face and the underside of the tower to play on the scale and to make the structures imposing and stretching out all over the frame. Excellent composition and framing with the "legs" of the tower stretching out to the lower corners of the shot. I also like the different contrasts and qualities created with the artificial lighting shown on the tower, it makes the tower look like it's glowing from the inside at some parts. Excellent detail and clarity, especially for a nighttime shot, with the high ISO you used. Although there are some overexposed bits at the top and at the right you did a great job with the metering. Excellent too with this captured at a slight angle or tilt, TFS!

Not one of the run of the mill Eiffel shots for sure,

Ilike your POV,giving the viewer a very high impact image of

the Eiffel,clear & sharp night shot.the 1st observation deck

stands out well.

Hi Alex,

You already told that it would be night shots in Paris, but man, it was well worth it.
Amazing. Le Tour Eiffel looks as if it is made of fine gold wire - like fillegrain (?) work from a silversmith. And all so detailed.
