The outside Sun is thirsty of the internal sun

Symbolism of the Sun
The sun is a very powerful symbol for people. He occupies a dominant place in every culture.
Generally speaking it is a male, active principle. However, certain nomadic peoples of Central Asia considered it as a feminine principle (the Mother sun); It is also the case of the Japanese, for whom the Sun is the kami Amaterasu, the lady sun, wife of the Lord the Moon. In the mythology Scandinavian, the children of Mundilfari and Glaur are Ground (goddess of the Sun) and Mani (god of the Moon), an idea that J. R.R. Tolkien mattered in its work.

Often, the Sun represents the power. This celestial body gives the life. If the Sun came to disappear, or even if its beams did not reach us any more, life would go out on Earth, where from the symbol of life.

In antique Egypt, Râ (or Rê) is the god Sun (it was one of the most important gods, even most importing) and Akhénaton will make his unique god under the name of Aton. In the Greek Pantheon it is Apollon, a son of Zeus and the Titan Léto. Also let us quote Hélios who is the personification of the Very sun. The Aztecs called him Huitzilopochtli, a god of the Sun and And of the war, the boss of the world. If he is not associated with a god, people associated him to themselves as king of France Louis XIV nicknamed King-sun (crowned with God). The Japanese imperial family boasts of coming down from Amaterasu, goddess of the Sun.

In alchemy, the symbol of the Sun and the gold is a circle with a point to the center. He represents the inside with all which revolves all around. In astronomy as in astrology, the symbol is the same.

Whether he is Sun, Sole, Sonne, Soleil or Sol, he is the same for all :o)

Good details in this delicate flower!
The shining yellow has a strong impact in nature, I haven't made a serious study but it is a good hypothesis to believe yellow flowers attract more insects...
