[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Villa Antoinette in Wissant, France.

Charles De Gaulle, famous french General and President, spent his summer in this house.
It's in this house that he wrote one of his famous works - Le fil de l'épée (Son of the sword)- published in 1932.

Charles De Gaulle who lead the french forces during WWII became the leader of the French goverment. In 1947 he was elected president. With a new constitution he introduced he installed the 5th republic. A new era in the rich french history wich lasts until now.

Dan staat dat land er niet goed voor !
Voor toch een wel groot staatshoofd, zo'n gewoon optrekje : dan staan er aan onze kust " kastelen " waar gewone mensen intrekken.
Nu ja, hij zal het voor de rust gedaan hebben.
