Just wondered whether it woudn't work as well (or better) in black & white... What do you think?
Thanks for your comments, critiques and suggestions!
E.

Thanx, M, (*_*)

Hi Erik,
I like the idea behind this photo, however, I do believe black and white would give it a stronger effect. It would've been nicer also if the person wasnt wearing shoes, instead it would be bare feet. Other than that, great shot really. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!

Hi Erik!

i wouldnt do that if you wouldnt ask about suggestions... but i see your picture that way... hope you will like it!

there wasnt too much sun light that day, was there?

Pozdrawiam :o)

Hello Erik,
Some pictures will look good no matter what. Just depends sometimes. I myself think this would look good in black and white. Great details and reflection in the washed up water behind the shoes/boots. Interesting and different everyday shot. I like it.

I did a little workshop for you!

An excellent image with a lovely peaceful and thoughtfull feel to it, it works well as it is and I think personally would work just as well in b&w, if not better. Good work.

Hi Erik, really nice work here, and very interesting title ;) I really like how we can interpret this in different ways: is the water and sand saying "touch me"? Or the person, saying "touch my legs or skin"? Really simple and strong composition with the focal point (the feet) more near the lower right, balancing nicely with the water spreading at the upper left. The subtle dark patch on the wave at the way upper left is slightly distracting in that it breaks up the continuity of the tones up there, but the reflection of the shoes is very strong and crisp, and makes the shot dynamic and interesting. Good focus and I love how the subdued colors or tones in the shot give this a somewhat contemplative or melancholy feel. Excellent framing and cropping just above the hint of the knee at the top. I do really enjoy the workshops too because they add a lot of mood to the original, each in their own way. Great work Erik, thanks for sharing!

I can write pages about this shot. I have never thought that legs can express that much! I can imagine a whole story, just by looking to these legs. Of course the sea,the sand, the colours are helping a lot as well!
Congratulations..
