[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was my last day in Paris and I walked off lunch by heading towards the Pyramide du Louvre and through the Tuilleries on way to Place De La Concorde. From there I headed towards the Orsay Station Museum were I spent a few hours taking in all it's beauty and incredible art collection and took this shot.

Alex, again the air in France is good for you, did see many excellent shots you made in France. So a big compliment my friend and this time I will pretend as if I have not seen the
half cut of foot of this Opera singer.

Hi Alex,
A perfect capture of the artist and his work Excellent POV fine composition. You did a pertly desaturation in this picture I suppose Well anyway a superb posting my friend!

Hi Alex, a good shot of an artist at work, partial desaturation is very effective, sharp & clear. My only concern would be his foot being cut and the angle it is taken, a lower angle instead of eye-height, bending the knees would have done the job.. thanks

Hi Alex,

Another great painter! Good shot. Great compo, nice colour-tone. Well done, thanks for sharing, greetings from Bianca. (You should go to Paris more often, love your "Paris-series!") :-)

Hi Alex, wonderful photo.Nice shot my dear friend.
Greetings.
A.

Hello Alex,a good angle for this shot,we are able to see the artist's painting as well as the original.
The desaturation of everything except the paintings was a good idea.
Excellent sharpness, we can see the original Degas in all its glory.
TFS, regards Jean.

So you really go down on your belly to get the best POV - well I can do that, but the question is can I get up afterwards ---
Nice intro pic.
A very smartly dressed artist that really is doing a great job. Love seeing that as in the other one.
He is probabky in his own world right now and maybe only half notices that you are making this picture.

Oh Alex, I am so jealous of you doing these things. The Musee de Orsay is such an amazing gallery - stunning and overwhelming at the same time. Great capture here, like the PP work. This is a Dega right?
Good work
Karen

What a wonderful city to visit. Wonderful capture of the "artist" at work. Quality POV here.

Excellent painter - looks like a good copy of the ballerinas. I'm sorry about his foot, but you have a very clear and sharp photos for us. BRAVO!
Janice

Great desaturation with i'm guessing some sepia toning. his shoe it cut of very little at the bottom but that is minor. great angle.
well done,
Shelby

This is an interesting image. An artist inspired to paint a copy of another artist. You are lucky that that gallery will allow you to take photos. Most of our art galleries will not permit such things.

I like the mood of this image. I also just noticed that you removed the color from some of the image . . . great idea!
