This bird of prey (Harris Hawk - Buse de Harris - Parabuteo Unicinctus) lives in the wild on the American continent. In other parts of the world, it can only be found in captivity, in falconries where it is used for hawking.
This shot was taken in the "Bois des Aigles" rescue center during a falconry training.

Je remarque que nous avons le même matériel :) Qu'elle belle capture de cet oiseau impressionnant. Les détails et l'exposition sont superbes. Mon seul hic c'est que j'aurais laissé un peu plus d'espace devant le sujet mais c'est vraiment un détail :) Bravo!
