I think this photo could use a bit of cropping. To me it appears that there is too much space at the top and it doesn't seem to fit into the composition. Also I don't think the effect of the red is working with the shot. I really like the noise effect, maybe dust and scratches would give it a nice "old" look to match the age of the woman. The black and white works well.

Hmm, you like this arguement with the bw and reds. Like Spielberg in the Schindler's list. Well, I think your images are very well done, I like its themes. The noise is great with the vivid red, with a sharp BW it will not come out as dramatically as here. More, more!
