[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a Friday with dull, grey & cold weather, first thing we saw when we woke up on Saturday was a lovely blue sky... so we decided to visit our most beloved place in Paris, the hill of Montmartre.

So much to see there, and it has a very relaxed mood. The little streets are usually quiet, compared to the traffic hell of the rest of the city. Unless... they get crowded with tourists, of course ;o).

This spot is the Place de Tertre, a cosy, shady little square, famous for its artists. This one was "marketing" his works to a couple of Chinese tourists. An artist at work can be seen here.

In the back you can see the well-known cupola of the Sacré-Cœur.

Tech talk

Cloned out some litter on the ground.

Slight perspective correction, otherwise in-cam compo. I love it when that works out... Also, exposure is as captured, no levels, no curves, no nothing to correct it this time ;o).

Downsized and framed with some recorded PS actions.

Great shot of a wonderful place in Paris! Everything about it is just lovely from the sky, Sacre Coeur, shadows, and of course the artist!

Nicely done! Lisa

You were very lucky to have such weather.
Hi Frank,

This is indeed a most relaxed place to stroll, and feast your eyes on the colourful works of art and artists. Hope you also got a chance to visit the Sacre-Coeur and the view in front of that church - well we will probably see it if you did.

Lovely capture.

Hallo Frank
Great .. with a 'but ...'
I would have used the fill-in flash on my camera here .. or a little correction with PS on the 3 persons. Overall? A wonderfull 'acte de presence ' of the world famous Montmartre.
Hunting ground of ' Commissaire Maigret :-)
heerlike shot
Groet
John

Ja, Frank.
Place to be, als het zonnetje schijnt.!
Tijd niet meer geweest, laatse keer dat ik daar 'langs' kwam, meer noord afrikanen dan Fransen.
Time is changed.
Nice streetlive scene. Well done.
