[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Biking sure is an alternative way of transportation throughout Paris, and the municipality helped organising the rent-a-bike system through Vélib.

If it would have been warmer during our visit, we might have considered this. But it was cold, so we kept to walking and using the famous Métro.

Tech talk

Straightened and cropped.

Levels, curves. The usual ;o). Light was a bit flat on that dull grey day, so the saturation needed a small boost.

Downsized in a couple of steps, and framed, with some recorded PS actions.

Ritme, elegance en design; prachtig bij elkaar gebracht.

Hi Frank,
In na volging van het witte fietsen plan van de provo's?
Mooi plaatje
Ruud

Hi Frank,

I love the pov you have on the bikes. Great repetitive lines and curves that I find very pleasing. All of the bright orange reflectors add interest and a splash of brightness.

Paris is my favorite city... wish I was there now!

thanks, Lisa

Good eye on seeing this moment, interesting view.

Position of view, I guess you had no other choice, maybe. ;)
As for DOF, I'll have to try one similar and see if I get the same Depth of focus at 5.6. ;)

Nicely captured

Frank,
The LOW POV stands out to me the most here. I have seen similar scenes here in Japan! I think you've captured this well and the LOW POV is great. Interestingly, I thought most pople would say the tree on the right is distracting but I'm okay with it. I posted a photo of a chimpanzee with it's foot wrapped around a tree and people "gigged" me to no end about it. LOL.
I like this photo Frank, nice work!

Hi Frank,

I have seen these bikes before on TL - I think one was made by Mr.Little (Frans).
But this one is a new perspective.
A loovely composition with park and then higher the bikes and then even higher the buildings - de opbouw van de foto werkt prima.

Bonjour Franck
Excellente perspective sur cet alignement de vélib. Bien vu!

Grappig ! Nu ja voor mij ... :
als je die zadels als tonen hoort.
Persoonlijk zou ik beetje dichter naar de fietsen gaan
maar dat ieder zijn gedacht. ( zelfde POV ! )
Kan je in de zomer (?) nog 'ens proberen ... ;-)

Hello Frank! You have the eye for sure, well composed image, great details and very nice technique. That's a pretty good idea that rent-a-bike thing, we have something similar here in Montreal and it's getting more and more popular (not in the winter though..) Well done, thanks!

Hello Frank

Beautiful visual, I don't have and nor the picture shows to speak to me something that doesn't combine or that it is out of the order. Technically I could not also say that is everything centralized, but if he flees of the post, it will lack parts on the side right or left.
it is big the form of like them they are whole profiled and making a tunnel of steel and iron.
Without a doubt an excellent post!
Congratulations

Sérgio

nice POV Frank! sexy lines. i love bicycles and this is a cool design. TFS!

Hi Frank,

I like the visual effect achieved by the perspective of the bicycles. I am almost tempted to crop it closely and just show the bicycles. A good and interesting photo.

Thank you for your visit and comments on my photo, "Vernazza, Cinque Terre".

Andre'
