Hello TL members!

After the Friday Theme I’m back to my Provence photos, this time another one from Les Baux-de-Provence.
I imagined that the rock on the left side, like a human profile, is a rock giant looking over the beautiful landscape around the village.

From Wikipedia about this wonderful place:
“Les Baux-de-Provence is a small village and commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône département in southern France, in the province of Provence. It has a spectacular position in the Alpilles mountains, set atop a rocky outcrop crowned with a ruined castle overlooking the plains to the south. Its names refers to its site — in Provençal, a baou is a rocky spur.”

Hello Sorina,
A pleasure to see again one of the treasures of Les Beaux !
On a clear day we can see for miles and miles.. almost to the Miditerranean !
When I have a moment I will look up some photo's from Le Pont Du Gard - ou Gradon ( both names are good= same river) :-)
The little sort of rocks at the ens are called : Les Alpilles
The little Alpes

Yes ,this giant rock is interesting but I prefer the landscape below with the paches of green, ocre, yellow and brown and those mountains in the distance. It is so clear and neat. I love it.

Beautiful landscape! Your rockface reminds me of the "old man in the mountain" that was the state of New Hampshires claim to fame until the face fell off the mountain! I hope the same doesn't happen to this one! Great POV, love the unending landscape! TFS

Excelenta compozitie/culoare/incadrare a peisajului!
Iarta-ma ca scriu pe fuga repetand acelasi nesfarsit cliseu...e trecut de miezul noptii aici, de-abia acum am ajuns la calculator si-mi pica ochii-n gura de somn... :)))
