[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my point of view of the famous aqueduct Pont du Gard, a great piece of roman architecture which we visited two weeks ago.

I captured only the upper level and I caught the last bleu light of the evening, because we reached quiet late there.
More about Pont du Gard, here.

I love history, bridges/aqueducts and places I would love to see, Sorina and you have given me all those in one capture. I love the point of view used and the beautiful sky to set it off beautifully. A wonderful composition and beautifully presented. Well done.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hi Sorina
Great shot, well focused, and well composed, Good job.

Hello Sorina
I am always impressed by those structures that go back to thousands of years. In Canada and in the USA, modern structures collapse, killing many persons while those bridges an aqueduc resist to time an to man. I love the point of view you chose.I made lots of photos of that aqueduc with the rich ocre color..
Nicely done
Serge

Buna Sorina,
Imi place mult POV-ul ales. Iar lumina de seara da un aer melancolic.

Cristian

I visited the Provence in '87 and I didn't have a car, so we didn't get to see this monumental aquaduct - or what's left of it. So TFS Sorina, it is a wonderful piece of architecture.
The subdued light is still strong enough here. As for compo, I think you were a bit too close. Imo the grandeur of the bridge can only truly be captured with a panoramic shot, showing its height as well.
But anyway, TFS.

Fantastic again Sorina
A waonderfull photo.
Place built by Romans to supply the town of Nime of fresh water,
Have you been all the way on top?
There is a sort of 'tunnel' with no roof
But if not, I am sure you will go there again, it has that effect on people

I will add a photo I made in 2003 with my first Dig camera "=_
