| Perched on a rocky outcrop halfway between Carpentras and Vaison la Romaine, Le Barroux is a charming picturesque village that deserves a visit. We arrived there last April as the Fruit trees were in bloom. We were fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple of nights there and thus we could wander by day. Wherever you traveled on the Comtat plain or on the Vaucluse hills the old Chateau, perched like an eagles nest was visible. I noticed this natural arch of fruit tree blossoms as i sped by so of course i had to turn around to capture and frame the Chateau with this lovely and natural arch. |
