Well, 1 out of 2 was happy. The other one didn't have his finest moments. But 1 out of 2 is a rather good score!

I put my 50mm 1.4D on the camera and stuck with it most of the day. Street photography. Normal people, everyday circumstances. Most of the time.

Look here on TE for me in action! The bonding experience.

Hi Dennis

Streetwise and natural, I like it alot! Great portrait capture.

Regards and TFS,

Martyn

Hello dennis, nice shot of this person, not a miserable look, it shows that despite they hard condition, they can be as others.

Well done Dennis, this one and the last post. Especially good seeing you are using your 50mm lens. Close and personal.
Very impressive 300th posting on TE.

Hello Dennis, very good portrait of this young man, very good use of the fast lens. Well done, thanks!

Mario

Great Natural Portrait of real people on the street, if the guy on the right scrubbed up he could be a model. Well photographed

Hoi Dennis,
groeten,
Joop!

Fabulous portrait of these two guys Dennis!
What strong facial expressions and contrast with the two.
Excellent light and composition.
Well done.

Hello Dennis :o)

Excellent shot ! Street's situations are so interesting, I like to see daily lifes composition ... Very good expression of this man who seems to be happy, you're right.
Great experience to approach and discuss people in streets.
Best regards from France

Marylou ;)

Yes, I see Dennis, that moment on TE was one to bond with the people - no comment from me about that ^-^.
I know you love to keep the BG, but I think I would just isolate that one caracter - but that's just what I prefer.
Great job - you must have had a wonderful time scouting the streets in Lille.

HI Dennis
I can't believe this fellow used those clips for earrings, he'll have holes in his ears the size of nostrils.
Certainly a good capture and glad you got a bit of co- operation from them, as judging by the scars on his arms I don't think you were photographing choir boys.:-)))

I like that you are experimenting with the 50 mm lens all day. Nice street portrait of the guy on the right. I think the guy on the left and car behind him could be cropped out-- but that of course is just my opinion. Nice DoF and sharpness. TFS. K2

Hello Dennis,
amazing pic, beautiful street shot!
Bravo :)

TFS,
Flaminia

Nice capture. Very natural, but somehow also warm. Terrific composition and good use of the shallow DOF. Great job.

Hi Dennis,
