| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Sunday morning is market day in this small town in the south of Brittany.
As in the UK, French smokers now have to partake of their pleasure outside the bar.
I'm not sure whether enjoyment is quite the right word for this!

I just LOVE this Peter! Very much like a Normal Rockwell painting, where each member of the picture is doing their own thing! LOVE the comp here, superb people shot!

Hi Peter. Yes, judging by the expressions on their faces what a great time they are having ;~) excellent study, puts me in mind of the Giles cartoons from years ago. Thanks for sharing.
Regards Phil.

Hello, Peter.
They don't look too cheerful do they? I nearly died laughing when I read Phil's critique - these people are exactly like the characters in a Giles cartoon, especially the fellow facing the camera and the girl on the left!
A well-captured shot with great clarity and sharpness.
Excellent!
Best Wishes,
John.

Hello Peter,
as you know, I love this kind of street photography. And this one is such a laugh. You have managed to capture a number of lugubrious faces. I always find that there is something sad, funny and pathetic about people desperately puffing away outside pubs, cafes etc: united only by their addiction (affliction). This says all that.
