This one is beautiful Erik, I really like it.

Most striking is the lower half of the frame, where the lit dewdrops in the web are sharply defined against the darker field.

To be honest it loses a little of its 'wow' towards the upper right corner, where a degree of burnout from that sun washes out the crispness of the web. Maybe a slightly different POV would have fixed that?

And of course the lack of any anchoring point for the web at the top of the frame!

But we can't have everything, and the feeling of this, the beauty of the web against a misty backdrop, is superb.

Dit werkt bijna altijd, Erik, maar er is één eis: scherpte!
En het goede nieuws is: dit is haarscherp. Rew heeft volgens mij een beetje gelijk wat de ankerpunten van het web betreft, maar dat is een keuze tussen compo en detail, zo zie ik het toch. De sfeer wordt vooral bepaald door het zachte licht dat het groen bijna donkergrijs heeft gemaakt... Mooi. Zo'n herfstsfeer in hartje zomer kan alleen in den Belgique hé :-(

I don't know which I like better...your image or your note:) Actually, they go well together, and both are enjoyable. The spider web is a great catch, and you have managed to show the pearl-strung lattice-work of the filaments well in this natural setting. The POV does seem to give this a "through the spider's eye" impression. Looks like the spider may have gone out for some better vittles:) Well done!

I 've wonder why didn't you turned all this in to b&w ?
I've saw many masterpieces with these spider's treasures, and the best was on film and bw.
ok ok ok. and a litle problem.:
i'm not master. but it seems to me a little bit "oversharpen". what do you think?
i've these problems myself, so i actually allways see this problem, especialy on good images.
try to use another toy to sharpen image,ahh?

I love this shot.First of all- great catch ,I am little envious,never had so lucky to find such a great spider web :)

And I really love this misty atmosphere,this dark mood ...I feel so good looking in this shot (strange-everybody dreaming about sunny places just me about cold,dark wet place;))

dat vind k jammer, maar verder is de foto erg geslaagd:D

Voilà une bien jolie collection de chaînettes, on dirait une rivière de diamants oubliée là pa rune féée de passage. Belle définition et joli arrière plan créé par ce même brouillard qui a déposé ses joyaux sur cette toile d'araignée.

le Web serait-il triste? toute ces larmes sur la toile...

Ik was er zeker van dat ik nog een foto van je gemist had.
Maak daar maar twee van.
Dit noem ik een " pareltje " !
Ook je compositie mag er wezen : dat mistige speelt
enorm goed mee :-)

Toch een bemerking voor je ze print ...
rechtsboven heb je, volgens mij, wat OE
daar zou ik proberen nog iets uit te krijgen.

Naar het schijnt zouden gebakken insecten best te doen zijn.
( en als voedselbron een welkome, gezonde, aanvulling )
Weet het me eens te vertellen ...

magnifique et magique cette image de toile d'araignée. toutes ces petites goute de rosée forme comme un splendide collier de perles. On peut même voir le poids de l'eau sur la toile qui fait fléchir les files.
La lumière superbe, c'est une très bonne image.
