[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

The 1st floor inside of the railroad viaduct which steps across the town.
The picture looks like what is called in french "Mise en abyme" (abyss-mirror ?)so that the picture seems to be seen in the second, the second in the third and so on .But ,here, each opening suits with one of the column bearing the viaduct.
Cet ouvrage colossal a été construit de 1863 à 1865 pour permettre à la ligne de chemin de fer Paris-Brest d'enjamber la vallée et la rivière. Ainsi, la voie ferrée passe au-dessus du cours d'eau à plus de 50 m de hauteur ! Ce grand chantier conduit par l’ingénieur Fenoux a nécessité le travail de 900 personnes et des milliers de tonnes de granit.(from "Le guide des Voyages - L'Internaute")

Splendide lumière!
Tout comme une coulée de larve cette lumière au sol illumine merveilleusement bien cette partie ombragé de l'image.

Bnjour Henri,

Voilà un sujet "classique" mais indémodable.
Le jeu de lumière et d'ombre est particulièrement réussi. C'est ce qui fait tout le charme de cette photo.
Je ne suis pas là pour discuter technique (j'en serais bien incapable), mais je souhaite juste souligner mon regret de voir la première arche tronquée. Ce n'est évidemment pas un problème en soi; j'aurais simplement poussé la symétrie jusqu'au bout.

Merci enfin pour toutes vos notes si détaillées, accompagnant agréablement le promeneur le long de votre galerie.

I love it... this is great,the ambiance that is so authentic looks perfect here, the game of perspective always fascinates me, cuz it could be simply complicated, shapes, lines and a lot to keep in mind, here you mastered it henri and what makes it more amazing is the light, the shadow, the gradual lights, the path that reaches finally somewhere
