Well, turns out it was a brilliant idea Jan. The result here is really nice. What a spectacular view of that great city!! Love the low light and the resulting colors in this shot.

I agree with Trudy, well worth the effort. I have been struck by the relatively flat contour of Parisian architecture since most of the buildings are 4-6 stories. The late afternoon sun provides a rich texture and glow to this landscape image.

Wonderful view on Paris!
At this hour the warm light lites up the facades so nicely. I especially like the view of Montmartre and the basilic, the deep blue water of the Seine in foreground, too.

Prachtig mooi uitzicht over Parijs, een geweldige beloning voor vroege vogels. Ik weet niet of ik dit haal!

Hier kan ik uren naar kijken en hoe langer ik kijk hoe meer ik zie. Je hebt echt het perfecte moment weten te kiezen voor deze opname. Het licht komt van de perfecte kant en de warme kleur maakt de stad echt prachtig. Een schitterende foto.
