[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A cow is generally not very expressive, but 3 cows staring at a strange creature on his knees, holding a silver device with an eye in the middle is perhaps different. Anyway, you have to be very sharp to guess what they express!

For connoisseurs, these are "Charolais" breed, generally giving delicious meat when well cooked. Before ending on your plate, they are very placid and curious.

Another one in the flock was interrested in the tripod I left outside the fence... just have a look at the workshop.
Cropped out, cloned a cow on the left, transferred to duotone (sepia), reduced brightness (-35), added contrast (+20), sharpened and framed.

:)) very funny and lovely picture..I always like the seriousness in animal's eyes and cows are great in this I think..good color choice too...thanks

A great shot, nicely composed and a good choice of sepia.
A nice capture of the look they are giving you!
I used to work on a farm and we had Charolais cattle. They are a nice and placid breed, even the bulls!
Excellent,well done.

I grew up on a farm, so this photo had instant appeal for me. You have captured the gentle, inquisitive eyes of these cows. Just an excellent composition!

I'm laughing.....I saw the WS, why not posted this one, it's great, Jean Michel, however I like this one too, nice soft picture with these three, very nice !

Tres jolie photo, moi, ca ne me donne pas du tout le gout de manger de la viande,,,,bien au contraire, je les trouve si belles!
Bien composée et accentuée par un sépia adoucissant!
Bravo!!

I'm a farm girl too - this caught my eye right away! I like the sepia tone. And I like how inquisitive the cows are. Around here, the cows seem to be oblivious to human activity, unless it involves food. Great portrait!

Excellent shot and composition! And then you created a beautiful creative image from that. I like the sepia mode, and the overall picture is also beautiful. Its like a tale with wonder cows :o)

Very nice. I think a saw a colored version of this...not he same but similar shot. Nonetheless, I like this one a lot better. I love the range of colors. VERY good.

Such a surreal and interesting image. I would never thought that cows would have made such an interesting subject...yet they did. I really like the tones you've created here...work very well with the main idea of the shot. Well done.

Visiblement, vous ne les avez pas laissées indifférentes ! J'adore la teinte sépia utilisée. Bien joué !

This is my favorite. You must love animals as much as I do and you are very lucky to have so many of them around you. Janos

Looks like a "modern" family. The little one is adopted I suppose.

Corinne

Superb light, composition and tonality. Great image Jean Michel.
