Corsica 2003 Mare e Monti
Every year my friends and I have the week without asphalt. In the early day’s we climbed a mountain but after many years we do trekking. In 2003 we went to Corsica the route is Called
Mare e Monti (Sea and Mountains) A walk along the ruff coast from bay to bay in 10 days
From back in the mists of time, there comes a saying which haunts me : "A country without a language is a country without order". We do have our own language, but we have disorder too.
Civilisations and invaders took over this privileged land. The most visible remains are Genoese. Here it is impossible to escape from history.

Very meaningful picture; I see (a) man controlling nature in macho attitude. Powerful 'victory' capture; the standing of the feet is great; a little nonchalant.
For sure it is just an holiday moutainsport picture, but you gave it (to me) this extra mood.
Thanks Ruud
Huub

It is a great and a meaningful composition Ruud. Very interesting stance of feet - as if meditative and also taking stock of the expanse in front. The picture goes pretty well with the thought of your note

You will not say these straight legs are yours I hope. Haha. Nice pov and sharp details.

Don

Bravo!

Good picture, Ruud.
Wonderfull sharpness both on the front and in the background.
Nice to see the sunlight all in front.
Dit zijn toch niet de benen van Richard, hoop ik?
Anders slaap ik vannacht weer niet.

Thanks for the background info, I'll have to put Corsica on my list of places to see! The detail of the strained leg muscles is fantastic.

the POV are perfect, also the lighting direction are good. Nothing to say, this is a good pic, Ruud

Hi Ruud, superb view here, so sharp and great dof! The rock in fg is very well lit, we see all the texture of it. Also, what completes it so well are the beautiful legs of the guy :)

Really, very well composed. The proportion of the landscape and the guy is perfect!

Thanks for sharing and the great idea you give me :)

Yan

Very interesting and artistic compo Ruud. These two legs towering over the beautiful landscape make the looker think that man can be above elements and bring order, only if he wishes to do so.

Ruud,

wonderful shot. I can see this in a travel/adventure magazine.

By the way, your friend has the legs of a mountain goat! LOL

Great DOF, and sharpmess in the foreground. I like the colours too. Well captured

Lance

I missed this one... excellent! I like your composition, really original and well done. Very nice male legs too ;o) Your pic should be used in an advertisement for Decathlon (French store of sport items).
Compliments,
Martine

Hello Ruud,
Great photo with wonderful composition which could be used as a commercial advert. In England we have a trekking/hiking magazine called "Trail", not sure whether your heard about it, but it has similar images to this one. Also, your gallery is so stunning! Did you think publishing any of your images?
Regards,

Shelly:)
