The feeling here is wonderful and strong. The results give the image an appearence of a very detailed piece of artwork. Which I guess it is.

The compositional arrangement within the photo is truly beautiful.
Fantastic mood and the depth of texture is quite amazing.
The great visual appeal of a beautiful and extremely detailed illustrated piece.
The pp and overall photo make this great, but the snow, the snow really adds to the great feel and moodiness.
The b/w conversion is absolutely gorgeous!

Hi Romain,

This is a wierd, but wonderful image if the Place de la Concorde. We had snow there during December of 2005 and it was really cold.

This picture recreates that feeling.

It is gloomy and lovely at the same time.

Seems like a mysterious place from your post processing. You've done an excellent job in taking out the cars and people. It seems like this is out of a gothic film or something. Great work on the post processing and excellent detail in the tones and an all around well composed photograph.
