Taken during a break in rehearsal for Brahm's "A German Requiem".
I loved the patent leather shine of the piano. While the piano itself was silent, the window was open, and the birds were singing, trying to make themselves heard while they still had the chance.

Hi Ellen,
I like this shot for its graphical elements. And I like the POV as I think it very unusual. The focus somewhere in the middle of the image is nice.
As a thumbnail I thought this to be a b&w compo, then I noticed the colour in the larger version.
And then I asked myself how this might look like as a b&w compo. To say it the short way: I tried a workshop. I hope you don't mind me playing around with this shot?
