No, the baby is not floating in the air, although it looks kind of like he might be suspended in outer space. :)

He is sleeping on his mother's lap during a prayer meeting. The background looks black because his mother was wearing dark-colored clothing, and everything farther away went black because this was a flash photo in a dim room.

I took this shot very quickly, right when the prayer meeting ended and the kids were all running into the room to get candy from the sweet old "Tante" ("aunt") of the church. I only had one chance at a shot of the baby without little children's bodies in the way, and I think I got lucky not to get a blurry shot!

I converted to b&w using Photoshop, played with the contrast, and added a bit of blur to soften things up.

nice black and white shot. when i look at the eyes of the baby i can feel that his having a good sleep(deep). TFS.
